BioMy name is Jay and I'm 25, and a Texas native, living in Kentucky. I am currently working for the state government as an environmental technologist, assessing old coal mining sites that threaten public safety and health. My job keeps me out in the field several days a month, and I love meeting new people across the state, and helping make a difference.

I attended Eastern Kentucky University and received Bachelor of Arts in Geography with specialties in Geographic Information Systems and Physical Geography/Natural Resources, with almost enough hours for a minor in Appalachian Studies.
Hobbies
Hobbies.. Where to begin? I like reading, writing, riding my bike. I also like to travel, if the opportunity presents itself. If I can get enough vacation time saved up, I’d like to travel the world for a few months before buckling down and starting working on my masters. I enjoy radio lots too. I’ve been involved at several radio stations since 1998.
